While this post is sponsored, as always, all opinions are my own.
Whenever I tell people that I stay home with my children for the opportunity to homeschool, I typically receive one of a handful of standard responses, but there is one in particular that breaks my heart:
“I would love to be able to stay home, but right now it just isn’t a reality for our family.”
Believing as though you are intended to take a particular journey, yet feeling as though it is out of reach because of financial constraints, is a hard pill to swallow.
What I wish I could say to these moms who strike up conversations on the playground is that it is possible to make it happen. With a bit of planning, compromise, and utilizing smart shopping services such as Groupon Goods, it is possible to take a risk for your family and reap rewards.
Of course, it doesn’t always come easily. And there are certainly particular situations where minimalism, budgeting and couponing simply won’t cut it. (In fact, we have found ourselves in those situations before.) However, for those of us fortunate to have one reliable source of income, a few simple budgeting tricks are the key to thriving on less.
As we head into the season of giving, one of my favorite ways to stay within our holiday budget is to use Groupon Goods. You may or may not know that I am the oldest of eight siblings, ranging in ages from seven to twenty-six. Along with my own children and my husband’s family, that is a lot of gifts to purchase! And while I love seeing the joyful expression when someone I love receives the perfect gift, I don’t particularly love the pressure that this time of year can bring, especially as my family does our best to live within our means. Groupon Goods makes it easy to gift quality items from my favorite retailers at deeply discounted rates, while I rest assured that everyone we love we feel treasured without compromising our plan.
Do you seek opportunities to give generously while living on a budget? You must check out Groupon Goods this year!
We love groupon, woot for saving, especially around this time of year! She is so darling!!

She is looking darling as usual! I love Groupon! I discovered them about a year ago and we use it all the time. I can honestly say, I never really thought about using them for holiday-related ideas. We have always used them for “activities” but gifts sounds like a great idea!

Thank you, Gloryanna! We just adore her. I typically only used Groupon for great deals on our favorite activities like museuem visits and such, as well, but Groupon Goods makes gift giving on a budget very accessible!

Yes, Groupon was such a lifesaver when we first moved to the city and were looking for new places to dine and explore on a (young family’s) budget. I’ve only discovered Groupon Goods in the last year or two and really appreciate the savings!
